We are a homegrown family-owned company from Louisiana and we love to fish! Our theme has always been about efficiency while fishing. Fishing is hard enough; we're making it easier.
During tournament kayak fishing I found it difficult to efficiently juggle rods and switch lures. After years of trying many clips, snap swivels, quick snaps and knots, I kept finding myself frustrated with quality, availability and customer service. I saw a need for better clips from a reliable, responsive and responsible company. So we created Twitch Fish and brought anglers our first solution: Twitch Clip.
Our goals are:
- To make you more efficient with quality fishing gear at fair prices.
- Offer fishing tools, lures, accessories, gear and clothing.
- Ship your order from the US quickly
- Provide lightening-fast, responsive and quality customer support.
My career began in 2000. I've been in new business development and sales in industrial automation and controls solutions and still work full time. I spend my days strategizing, targeting and interacting with corporate engineers and automation leads, helping manufacturers run more efficient and do more with less. I help expand our footprint within our existing customer base and new clients. I love BD and everything about it.
I lived in Memphis and Houston from 2000-2006, moved back to Lafayette, where I noticed a non-existent kayak fishing community. In '07 along with the help of others, I created the Lafayette Kayak Fishing Club that grew to as many as 160 members. We met monthly to talk about fishing spots and launch locations over Google Earth, ran club trips, developed kayak launches, participated in marsh plantings and ran tournaments. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting some of the best anglers and making friends.
My love of fishing and desire to have a fishing side hustle helped me create Twitch Fish. I spend my spare time running Twitch Fish with my family. Everything from daily operations, shipping, social media, ads and finances. If you've chatted with us on social media or email or got a package from an order, you're talking directly with me and my family.
I am big on writing out and reviewing annual goals. One year I wrote down 2 fishing bucket list items- to catch a double-digit bass and speckled trout. On 3/14/15 I achieved my goal and caught a 12.26# largemouth bass on a Bill Lewis Yearling Bass colored Rat-l-trap. The fish was submitted to Toledo Bend's lunker program and is listed as a Top 100 lunker. It was a top 5 life moment. I have caught a 27" 7# trout but a double-digit still evades me.
Something most don't know about me is I was the LA 1992 State Champion in the discus (164'6"). I was 6' and 200# at the time and the smallest body-framed participant. I threw in college for 1 year.
I've been married since 2002 and have twins (boy and girl).
